FAYETTEVILLE -- As many troops are scheduled to return from overseas deployments over the next year, the state is trying to help find jobs for those who plan to leave the military.

The North Carolina Military Business Center is a statewide organization aimed at helping members of the military find local jobs. The company's mission is to help the soldier find a job in the state in an effort to improve the local economy.

"There are certainly soldiers who know a year in advance that they are going to transition. They really need to go to StayNC.org or use any other resources, their transition assistance program, to get ready for transition," said North Carolina Military Business Center Executive Director Scott Dorney.

The Military Business Center uses online sites Match Force and Stay NC to match job seekers with specific skills to potential employers.
