CHARLOTTE—Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have named a suspect in Monday's shooting at Northlake Mall.

Officers signed warrants for Carlton Ardrey, 25, on several charges including assault with a deadly weapon and possession of firearm by felon. Police say Ardrey shot Greg Tillery Monday as he walked to his car near Dick's Sporting Goods and Dillards.

Donta Mills, who was with Tillery, was also grazed by a bullet but was not seriously injured. Police say the shooting was not random.
