RALEIGH – Miss Kinston-Lenoir Arlie Honeycutt was crowned the new Miss North Carolina Saturday night.

Honeycutt won a $15,000 scholarship and will go on to represent our state in the Miss America pageant.

The 75th year of the state pageant was one of the first in years to be televised and you could only see it here on Time Warner Cable and news14.com.
