RALEIGH--the Raleigh Fire Department is celebrating 100 years of service today.

People came out to honor their service as state-of-the art trucks and some antiques cruised through downtown.

Firefighters young and old were the main attraction, and activities including firefighter challenges and a birthday cake were all in the fire department's honor.
